Hayley orrantia is a native of America. She's primarily an actor, however she is also a songwriter and singer. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' However, she's primarily musician. When she was nine years old older, she started exploring music. At the age 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began training professionally. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded her album of songs at age fourteen. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet is of Hispanic origins. Although she spoke only English growing up and had never visited Mexico, Orrantia is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. She hopes to protect it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also studying the Spanish language. She recorded an Spanish version of the song, titled 'Hasta Verte. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut season of The X Factor. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube entry. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
