Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She advocates animal rights. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The daughter of an artistic family in New York she wished to be a part of the art. After working as assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the world in just three movies. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv series The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
